Receptionist Role

Permanent Part-Time (Full-time Potential)

We are seeking a warm, friendly, and organised receptionist to join our busy team in St Marys, Adelaide.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for our clients and play a key role in ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. As the friendly face of Active Balance, you’ll support our team of practitioners and help create a welcoming, professional experience for every client.


Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet clients and visitors, making everyone feel welcome and cared for
  • Manage appointments – booking, rebooking, rescheduling, and creating new ones
  • Answer phone calls and emails professionally, handle enquiries, take messages, and relay information
  • Process payments using EFT, HICAPS, and cash, with accurate data entry
  • Complete new client paperwork and maintain accurate client records
  • Perform general administration tasks including invoicing, filing, document management, and printing
  • Monitor and restock office supplies as needed
  • Keep the clinic tidy and organised, including treatment rooms as per the cleaning roster
  • Coordinate client set-up in the recovery room when required
  • Act as a liaison between clients, practitioners, and other team members
  • Support the overall daily operations of the clinic

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A friendly and outgoing individual, with a natural, approachable personality
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative
  • Passionate about healthcare and helping people
  • A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively
  • Has a willingness to learn and follow clinic protocols and procedures


Previous experience in administration or reception is preferred, and experience in a healthcare or allied health setting would be highly regarded (but not essential).

Exercise Physiologist Role

Part Time Position - Flexible start date

We’re on the lookout for a friendly and motivated Exercise Physiologist to join our growing allied health team.

We’re a busy, well-established clinic with a strong referral network and a genuinely supportive team culture. You’ll be working alongside physios, massage therapists, a psychologist and a myotherapist, with great opportunities for internal referrals and collaboration.


The role:

  • 1–2 days per week initially, with the potential to grow
  • Flexible arrangement – subcontractor or part-time employee
  • Mixed caseload including private clients, NDIS and rehabilitation
  • Strong existing referral networks already in place


What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering individualised exercise programs
  • Supporting clients with rehab, chronic conditions and general strength & conditioning
  • Building great rapport with clients and the wider team
  • Keeping clear and accurate clinical notes


What we’re looking for:

  • ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist
  • Great communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently but enjoy being part of a team
  • New graduates welcome to apply
