Physio-Led Exercise Classes
Small group classes led by expert physiotherapists: ideal for improving strength, mobility, and confidence, while managing pain, preventing injuries, and boosting overall wellbeing. Choose from our gym based joint health classes, and our pilates style mat classes.
Core Fit - Mat Pilates Style Class
Our mat-based, Pilates-inspired classes are led by qualified physiotherapists, offering a low-impact, but challenging workout that focuses on improving core strength, stability, flexibility, and overall body conditioning.
These classes are suitable for people of all fitness levels, whether you are recovering from an injury, managing ongoing pain, or simply looking to improve your strength and movement quality.
Benefits of Our Classes:
- Core and whole-body conditioning: Targeted exercises using mat Pilates principles to strengthen your core, hips, glutes, and postural muscles.
- Improved mobility and flexibility: Gentle stretching and controlled movements that can help enhance joint range of motion.
- Balance and stability: Exercises are designed to improve proprioception and stability across multiple joints.
- Low-impact training: Ideal for those seeking a challenging workout without high-impact stress on joints.
- Injury prevention: Strengthens muscles and connective tissues, reducing risk of injury during sport, work, or daily activities.
- Pain management and rehab support: Suitable for ongoing musculoskeletal conditions - your physiotherapist can adapt exercises to your individual needs.
- Safe and adaptable: Small class sizes allow us to modify movements safely for everyone.
- Welcoming environment: Classes are friendly, supportive, and inclusive.
Note: No Initial Assessment is Required
Because these classes are low-risk, mat-based, and use no equipment apart from a few bands and small hand weights, no initial assessment is necessary. Your physio can monitor and adapt exercises in real time during the session to meet your individual needs. This makes the classes highly accessible for beginners, those recovering from injury, or anyone managing pain while still benefiting from expert guidance.

Physio-Led Gym Class
We’re excited to introduce our new Joint Health Class — a supportive, physio-guided exercise program designed specifically for adults who want to work on strength, balance & manage (and prevent) pain or injuries.
Whether you're managing osteoarthritis, bone density concerns, worried about falls and balance, or simply want to improve your strength and fitness in a safe, welcoming environment, this class is for you!
What We’ll Work On:
- Full body strength to support joints and movement, while helping to manage pain and improve general function
- Impact based exercise to promote bone density
- Overall fitness and confidence to support healthy aging
- Balance training to reduce risk of falls
This isn’t a “gentle chair-based strength class” - you’ll be learning to use real gym equipment like barbells, cable machines, free weights, and cardio gear. But don’t worry, your physio will guide you every step of the way, tailoring your program to your needs and ensuring you’re safe and confident as you progress.
How It Works:
- Pre-program assessment: You’ll need to complete one-on-one physio session first off. This session is to identify your goals, and assess your current strength and balance levels, using advanced testing tools as required. This gives us a better idea of what to focus on for your individual program in order for you to get the most out of your sessions.
- Additional one-on-one sessions as required: If you feel like you’d like some extra individual support before going into a group session, you can book additional individual sessions with your physio. You can discuss the need for this with your physio and they can advise you on the best course of action.
- Start your small-group sessions: These are 45-minute classes with a maximum of 4 participants, ensuring close supervision, support and tailoring of exercises to your specific needs.
- Regular program reviews: Regular reassessment as required, to measure your progress and plan your next steps to get the maximum benefit from your sessions. There may be a need to book an individual session periodically to measure your progress in more detail, however this can be discussed with your physio as needed.
Classes begin: October 13th, 2025.
