A Hands-On Approach to Physiotherapy

We take a hands-on, practical approach to treatment.

Depending on your needs, this may include modalities such as:

  • Joint mobilisation
  • Soft tissue work
  • Trigger point therapy & myofascial release
  • Dry needling (with or without electrotherapy)
  • Guided exercise & rehab
  • Myofascial Cupping

Treatment doesn’t just stop there, we will also guide you through what to do between sessions so you can keep improving, and reduce the risk of your pain coming back.

What Physiotherapy Can Help With:

Our physiotherapists manage both acute and chronic conditions. Common issues we see include:

•
Neck & back pain: whiplash, wry neck, disc or facet joint problems and chronic low back pain.

•
Headaches & jaw pain: tension headaches, migraines and TMJ disorders.

•
Joint & tendon injuries: shoulder impingement, rotator cuff tears, elbow pain, knee pain, Achilles or patellar tendinopathies and bursitis.

•
Lower limb conditions: ankle sprains, plantar fasciitis, hip labral tears, ACL or meniscus injuries.

•
Sports injuries & performance issues: sprains, strains, shin splints and overuse injuries.

•       Post surgical rehab & balance disorders: return to activity after orthopaedic surgery and management of vertigo/BPPV.

Our goal is simple: help you move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what you enjoy.

What to Expect at Your Physiotherapy Appointments

Initial consultations run up to 45 minutes, or longer if your case is complex. During your visit, your physio will:

1.      Assess your condition: through movement tests and orthopaedic exams to pinpoint the cause of your symptoms.
2.      Provide hands on treatment: massage, joint mobilisation, cupping or dry needling help relieve pain and improve mobility.
3.      Prescribe exercises: you’ll receive a personalised program to correct imbalances and build strength.
4.      Educate and plan: together we set goals, discuss lifestyle factors and map out your path to recovery.

Follow up sessions are 30–60 minutes and allow your physio to progress treatment and update your exercises.
