Masters of Sports Physiotherapy (commencing 2026)

Chris graduated from UniSA with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2021 and has spent his career since then sharpening his skills in private practice and with local sports teams — exactly the settings that suit his clinical interests best. In 2026 he'll be commencing his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy, a step that reflects both his commitment to the field and his ambition to become one of Adelaide's leading sports physios.

Chris grew up with basketball as his sport — playing competitively from a young age and developing the deep understanding of athletic movement, court demands and the psychology of competitive sport that only comes from living it. These days he stays active across a range of pursuits, from shooting hoops to gym training to weekend gardening (which, as any physio will tell you, carries its own injury risks).

But Chris is clear that what drives him most isn't sport — it's people. He works closely with each client's goals, listening carefully to what matters to them and building a plan around that. He's also a relatively new dad, and watching his daughter Summer grow and develop has given him a fresh appreciation for the value of being healthy, mobile and present for the people you love.

chris's treatment approach:

Chris takes a client-centred, goal-focused approach — always working backwards from what the client wants to achieve, whether that's returning to competitive sport or simply being able to play with their kids without pain. He uses manual therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription and sport-specific rehabilitation, and places a strong emphasis on building resilience so clients don't just recover but come back stronger.
